Earlier this month, our new Scout Garden Committee hosted its inaugural summer planting event to promote a greener, more connected workplace, creating a shared space for employees to interact with nature and each other in a more meaningful way. We were thrilled to host the WRISE Colorado Boulder Summer Networking Happy Hour event last night in our Boulder office, offering a space for women and allies in the renewables industry to connect and strengthen their networks. Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) is a national nonprofit working to accelerate the transition to a sustainable and equitable energy future through the power of community, and we are proud to support their mission for a greener, more equitable future. Thank you to our Scout Women’s ERG for organizing and to WRISE for all you do and working with us to organize this fantastic event!

Thank you to the International Economic Forum of the Americas for inviting our CEO Michael Rucker to speak at the 30th edition of the Conference of Montreal last week to discuss how the public and private sectors can work together to break down barriers to the rapid expansion of renewable energy capacity. The global focus on solving climate change and advancing clean energy was on full display in Montreal last week and we are always proud to stand with other leaders working to implement large-scale solutions to climate change. #ConfMTL

Couldn’t ask for a better module signing event earlier this month in Central Texas for our under-construction 209 MWdc Markum Solar Farm. In the company of our amazing landowners, the Colgate-Palmolive team who will be purchasing the power from the project, and our construction partners at Mortenson, we celebrated the hard work and dedication that continues to go into our first utility-scale solar project. We can’t wait to celebrate again when it’s operating!

Earlier this month, we marked another impactful All Hands Meeting for Scout. For three days, 120+ Scout team members gathered in Colorado to hear updates from across the company, participate in team-building activities, brainstorm organizational improvements, and strengthen connections that go beyond their day-to-day work. We’re building something amazing at Scout, and we savor these opportunities to experience it together in one place.

Excited to announce the closing of a $100 million equipment supply loan with Rabobank Wholesale Europe & Africa. This facility will be used to fund equipment down payments as we continue to strengthen the development of our 19 GW pipeline of wind, solar, and battery storage projects across the country. Congratulations to our parent, Brookfield Asset Management, on the momentous announcement of its 10.5 GW agreement with Microsoft, the largest corporate renewable energy deal in history.
