What do professional car racing and robotics have in common? Well, speed, precision, innovation, team spirit, and an unrelenting hunger for success are crucial for being at the top. It was very exciting to meet the former Formula 1 driver and winner of the 2022 Indy 500, Marcus Ericsson, at the award ceremony of the Sweets & Snacks Expo last night. But that wasn’t the only highlight: Our Cobot tog.519 has been honored by an expert jury with the prestigious Ruby Award by the NCA for supplier innovation. Hartmut Siegel, CEO of Schubert North America, received the award on behalf of the entire Schubert team. We're grateful to the jury for this award. Change at the top of our sales team: Johannes Schubert has been appointed as new Head of Sales at Gerhard Schubert GmbH. The grandson of founder Gerhard Schubert and son of Gerald Schubert takes over this position from Martin Sauter, who unfortunately had to relinquish the position after six successful years due to health reasons. However, Martin Sauter remains part of the Schubert family: he is moving to Schubert Packaging Systems and will work in the sales team for Turnkey solutions. In addition to his new role as Head of Sales, Johannes Schubert will continue his position as Managing Director of Schubert Packaging Systems. He looks forward to the dual role: "As always when I have completed a change of position within the Schubert Group, I am looking forward to my new role with excitement. I will continue to consistently drive forward our position as market and technology leader in the additional role.
