In coordination with Santander UK, the Santander US International Banking team was proud to support the Bryant University John H. Chafee Center for International Business team as they embarked on their latest trade mission to the United Kingdom. Building and deepening relationships with global trade partners is essential to many businesses who are looking to grow their market outside of the U.S., and trade missions create potential pathways for international growth. Similar to the goal of these missions, Santander Bank’s global capabilities and combination of local and international presence remains critical for companies who are looking to scale their businesses.   During their mission, the Rhode Island team had the opportunity to spend a day at the Santander Work Café UK in London, where they heard from a series of speakers including members of the UK consulate and trade organizations for renewable energy and international marine. Santander UK also hosted a networking lunch with members of their business development team, international banking and industry experts.   Thank you to Santander UK and the Triton Square Work Café team for your hospitality and partnership, and good luck to the trade mission team on your future endeavors!

Congratulations to the Santander Dragons and Asian American and Pacific Islander Business Resource Group for winning bronze in the Finance category at the Dragon Boat Race in Boston earlier this month! The #DragonBoatFestival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated globally every year, making this achievement even more special. We are very proud of our teammates hard work and dedication for the competition!

It’s official! Santander Bank recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Coconut Grove Work Café in Miami. The Work Café serves as a hub for local businesses and the broader community, who joined us last week to celebrate the opening of this unique location.    Special thank you to Mayor Francis X. Suarez for warmly welcoming Santander to the Coconut Grove community, Miami artist ABSTRK for his live art presentation, local band French Horn Collective for the entertainment, and local vendors who have all participated in the Santander US Cultivate Small Business program for the incredible food and drinks.
