Product is the first of four pillars on which our annual Non-Financial Statement is based. Within it, we outline our "Road to 2030” strategy aimed at meeting the nautical sector’s demand for carbon-neutral power generation.  This strategy will result in the launch of two 50Steel yachts: one already launched in 2024, equipped with methanol fuel cells to power all on-board services; another by the end of the decade, with bi-fuel engines also powered by green methanol. With the introduction of #greenmethanol, in the long run, Sanlorenzo will no longer rely on diesel engines fueled by fossil fuels. Instead, power generation will be based on a combination of fuel cells and internal combustion engines powered by green methanol. This approach will lead Sanlorenzo to significantly reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. We are thrilled to have taken part in the Energy Boat Challenge 2024 at the Yacht Club de Monaco, an international event that brings together the best passionate talents in the sector to innovate yachting with sustainable solutions.   Our R&D team collaborated with prestigious #Universities, sharing knowledge and promoting innovation. SANLORENZO SIGNS A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE MINISTRY OF ENTERPRISES AND MADE IN ITALY, INVITALIA AND REGIONE TOSCANA FOR TECHNOLOGICAL AND SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION IN YACHTING   Sanlorenzo and its subsidiary Bluegame, as a participating entity, signed a Development Agreement with the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Invitalia and Regione Toscana totalling €91.5 million for an ambitious industrial investment program, focusing on sustainability and technological innovation, particularly in the adoption of green fuels and materials for product development, as well as the digitalisation of services and processes, coupled with a significant increase in production capacity. Thanks to this Agreement, Sanlorenzo Group is demonstrating a strong social commitment, hiring over 200 direct workers by 2026, with a more than proportional employment impact throughout the entire supply chain in the region. Mr. Massimo Perotti, Chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo, commented: «The Agreement marks an important milestone in our vision for the sustainable development of luxury yachting and the broader ecosystem in which we operate.
