💚 Today, our Mission Reach staff collaborated with BIO-WEST Inc. to install vegetated Coir Logs along the San Antonio riverbanks. These eco-friendly logs play a crucial role in stabilizing the banks of the San Antonio River while fostering native aquatic vegetation like spike rush, water-fern, and many others. 🌿💧 This ongoing effort has successfully supported over 1600 feet of riverbank reclamation and ecological lift so far in areas along the Mission Reach Project. Proud to be making a positive impact in our watershed! #EnvironmentalStewardship #RiverRestoration #NativeSpecies #EcoFriendly #Sustainability #WaterConservation #MissionReach #Biodiversity #RiverBankReclamation #WildlifeHabitat #ConservationEfforts #NaturePreservation #SanAntonioRiver #SanAntonioTX #SanAntonioRiverAuthority #WhatsYourWaterway #OurRiverWay #KnowYourRiversReach
