Advertising is a natural part of this environment fulfilling various functions like #safety⚓, #expertise 🧠 and #relief 😌. 💪 The study showed that news sites are a reliable advertising environment, because no distinction is made between emotionally charged environments ("bad news") and generic, factual environments. 🌟 Placing ads in news environments actually has a positive effect on the majority of brand attributes. Remarkably, this effect held true regardless of whether the news was emotionally charged or fact-based, and across all different (test) brands - including #FMCG and #finance. But you stayed for the RTL Beach. 🏖🦁💗 What an incredible week it has been on the RTL Beach at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, but you can see for yourselves! Even though we had an incredible programme with amazing speakers, some of our most cherished memories happened outside of that: the German AdAlliance supporting Die Mannschaft in full football gear, watching the Olympic flame walk down the Croisette, dancing the night away during our incredible RTL Beach Party, taking photos on the RTL cubes in the sand or trying on the sparkly Super Bowl Rings of Justin Reid.
