Congratulations to the Benzie Central High School Robotics team for winning the Design Award at the Michigan State Championship! They now move on to the World Championship, a first for the High School program. This team has gained immeasurable experience beyond what can be done in a classroom by designing, building, programming and documenting their process all while managing a rigorous academic schedule and sports. The program has given them real world exposure to meeting deadlines, supply chain issues, accountability, teamwork and even marketing among many other things. Rhoades Engineering has been sponsoring the Benzie Central Robotics teams for several years now and encourage all our AEC friends to support your local robotics programs, you’ll be amazed how much these students can accomplish! Hats off to these two, we have no doubt you’ll represent Michigan and the USA well at the World Championship.
