Did you know that adding shoulders to rural highways can greatly reduce the amount of car crashes every year? With hundreds of thousands of Americans hitting the road this summer, ensuring roadways are safe and operational is paramount. PEC has a long history of working with transportation departments to make roads safer for all who use it. In fact, we're currently working with Creek and Osage county in Oklahoma to add shoulders and rehabilitate pavement on highways. Let's all work together for safer roads! https://hubs.ly/Q02FPYy80 #PEC #TransportationEngineering #CivilEngineering #RoadSafety

Having a state-of-the-art hospital that balances healthcare and humanity can impact communities greatly. The Love Family Women's Center at Mercy Hospital aims to bridge that gap for Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. The new 175,000 SF facility has 15 labor and delivery rooms, 7 antepartum rooms, 47 postpartum rooms, 3 c-section suites, and a renovated outpatient surgery center. In addition, the mechanical systems, designed in 2020, were made to bring in 100% fresh air to the occupants, and exhaust the air out to reduce the risk of airborne illnesses. PEC provided electrical, mechanical, and power engineering services. Read more about the project: https://hubs.ly/Q02Ff_nK0 #PEC #ProjectHighlight #HealthcareFacilities #OklahomaCity

This is an especially fun and exciting project for us! SPT’s Randy Phillips, Brandon L. Gibson, AIA, Drew Phillips, Abigail Steinert and Keana Roets have partnered with Arena South Development to breathe new life into 333 East English, the neighboring building just to the north of us! Built in 1920, this 4-story building will be transformed into the Arnold Apartments, with 42 studio and one-bedroom units that feature an open, modern atmosphere with high ceilings and large windows, and a rooftop community space. The building’s first floor will feature 5,000 SF of retail space. Key Construction is the contractor and the engineering design will be completed by Professional Engineering Consultants and Empowered, LLC. Stay tuned for updates! 📸 #SPTArch #architecture #interiorarchitecture #interiordesign #renovation #residential #multifamily #apartment #downtown #rendering #upcoming
