The goal for Premier Therapy is to return each resident to his/her highest level of function through occupational, physical, and speech therapy. Individual programs are tailored to include goals that will ensure appropriate functional skills that can be identified, learned, and reinforced. The program provides a therapeutic approach that meets the highest standard of quality in the most cost effective and value-added manner. The Premier Therapy program meets federal and state regulations as well as the requirements of third party payors. Additionally, Atlas Rehab & Wellness, a provider of outpatient Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services, is now a division of Premier Therapy. Premier Therapy has been a recognized leader in the health care setting for physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in skilled and acute rehabilitative settings in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York; setting the standards for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. With Premier's success in these settings and high physician demand for additional therapy services at stand alone clinics, Premier Therapy has branched into outpatient care with Atlas Rehab & Wellness Centers. Atlas Rehab & Wellness is staffed with licensed therapists of all disciplines and are aided with the latest technology of equipment, including a heated therapy pool for aquatic therapy at the Liberty facility.

One of my all-time favorite professional sayings is, “Business moves at the speed of relationship”. This has certainly been the case in my own career. The great temptation for many in the Sales profession is to manipulate situations in order to bring about desired short-term outcomes. As I have taught in my Sales classes, this is a strategy that is doomed to fail in the long run. This philosophy was put to the test for our company during the tumultuous period of the COVID PHE, with facilities in crisis mode, and limited opportunity to engage over an extended period. It is safe to say that the years of 2020-2022 were lean times. But alas, we knew and believe that “Sales is not linear”. Our company, including myself, took the long term approach. Continue to do the right things. Meet your clients and your contacts where they are. Find new ways to make yourself valuable. Stay the course. And we can gratefully report – our strategy of perseverance was richly rewarded! 2023 was a year of significant achievement and growth individually, and for our company. We began new partner relationships with no less than 8 new clients in the Ohio territory, while opening 2 new states for Premier. The positive impact to our business and to our continued organizational outreach can scarcely be over-stated. To the original point, in order for good things to happen in the context of relationship, business or otherwise, it requires openness to new contacts and new opportunities in order for relationships to begin. Without the support of many who provided us the ability to openly engage and explore opportunities, our recent success could not have been possible. To our new partners and all who have supported our efforts over the years, THANK YOU! We could do nothing without you. So pleased to accept Premier Therapy’s Employee of the Quarter award for Q4, 2023 – my 2nd award with the company. It commemorates the single greatest accomplishment of my Sales career to date, the great efforts of our team, and the validation of the Sales Philosophy which I have taught, and striven to live by.
