As you know, a tornado struck the Zoo last Friday. While we are incredibly thankful that all are safe, the Zoo’s landscape was another story. Strong winds toppled trees and damaged enclosures. Our dedicated staff worked tirelessly to ensure our animals’ safety and make essential repairs before welcoming back guests. An event of this magnitude resulted in unexpected expenses. The Zoo relies on support from its generous donors to care for our animals and their habitats. Contributions of any size would make a major difference at this time.
