What a day! 48 First Tee members from all over the U.S. descended on the #PGATOURSuperstore Store Support Center in Atlanta today as part of The annual First Tee Leadership Academy. They heard from our CEO, Dick Sullivan, President Jill Spiegel, and leaders from across departments — then spent the afternoon on our 9-hole putting course and on TrackMan simulators downstairs in our Performance Center. PGA TOUR Superstore Community Engagement team along with the team from our Jacksonville, FL store hosted two community partners Thursday of The Players Championship. Folds of Honor Scholars and guests joined members of the Edward Waters University (Official) Women’s Golf team and the First Tee national office for breakfast at our store in Jacksonville, FL. This included a Q & A with Wesley Bauguess, author of God, Country, Golf: Reflections of an Army Widow and speaker for the Folds of Honor Foundation. Wesley sat down with our Manager of Community Engagement, Rich Alvarez to discuss her book, her years as a collegiate golfer, life as a veteran and Gold Star wife and mother and now as high school boys golf coach. The day continued with a private shuttle ride to THE PLAYERS Championship where guests enjoyed a unique VIP experience on the 16th hole. #GiveBackToOthers #Community Engagement #CommunityCaddie
