Pennington Partners & Co., through its affiliate Pennington Real Estate Partners, is pleased to announce the closing of a $16 million equity investment in a Qualified Opportunity Zone multifamily development in Nashville, TN. The investment was made from PREP's Opportunity Zone Fund I, which seeks to deploy tax-efficient, structured equity capital into QOZ projects nationwide. The investment was led by PREP MDs Taylor Coe and Alex Rongione, who see the current capital markets dislocation as an attractive time to deploy structured capital into niche opportunities.
