We've been weaving America's Spirit since 1863 - two USA woolen mills and a legacy of classic American style.
About us
Setting the standard for classic American style, Pendleton is recognized worldwide as a symbol of American heritage, authenticity and craftsmanship. There have been six generations of family ownership since 1863 when a young English weaver came to Oregon. The company owns and operates some of America’s oldest woolen mills, constantly updating them with state-of-the-art looms and eco-friendly technology. Inspired by its heritage, Pendleton designs and produces apparel for men and women, blankets, home décor and gifts. Products are offered in catalogs, online and in Pendleton retail and outlet stores nationally. Pendleton designs are also sold by select retailers throughout the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. #WildlandFirefighterDay On July 2nd, America honors the dedicated people who protect the nation’s wildlands. Each year, wildfires burn millions of acres across the United States. Each time a firefighter steps into a fire, they brave unthinkable dangers. Here is Rali Burleson, Director of Arizona Make It With Wool, presenting "Wildland Heroes" to her nephew and godson Ian Dobberstein, who is a federal Wildland Firefighter. There is nothing like seeing our blanket in the happy arms of an actual hero.

As we prepared to celebrate 100 years of quality shirtmaking, we needed a visual way to tell the story of a century of shirtmaking. We came up with what we call “The Shirt Wall.” This grouping of vintage Pendleton shirts has been part of the celebration from the very beginning. It made the rounds of trade shows, and has adorned the walls of some of our newest locations. This is just us, some shirts, and a lot of folding, pinning, and planning. Enjoy!

Pendleton has been supporting the work of the American Indian College Fund through the sale of special blankets since 1995, and this year brings three new blankets for the College Fund collection. The third design we want to unveil this year is Directions Home by Troy Tso, inspired by the plight of homeless veterans on the Navajo Nation. Directions Home is a winning design of the Tribal College Blanket Design contest, which seeks to elevate the voices, work, and representation of tribal college and university (TCU) students. See the blanket and meet the artist at the link. #partnership #education https://lnkd.in/gEFCP_aH

We can't wait to open in this new concourse. As our Director of Stores, Christina Wander, said in in interview, "The open, airy and light redesign of the PDX airport allows us to bring even more of the outdoors in to our space." It is an amazing space and we are proud to be part of it!
