We just launched Potawatomi Rewards, a concept that has made our signature players club even better with more rewards, new and better benefits, adjusted point thresholds, and a hot new look. To get our Team Members to learn about the new program in a fun and exciting way, they attended trainings online and in-person and then took a quiz. Everyone who completed the quiz was entered to win one of four vacations with Norwegian Cruise Line! Today, our event hosts, Sean Cullen and Morgan Knigge, SHRM-CP, chose those four winners. Each of the four winners took home an extra $3,000 for fees, gratuities, and spending money! Another 65 Team Members were drawn to win other premium prizes of Ninja Grills or Apple Home Pods. Congratulations to all of our winners! Thank you for helping us launch Potawatomi Rewards in a good way. 📸 : Kory Coronado

A huge congratulations is due to Leigh Redington, GM, and Gerry Ann Mann, AGM, of our sister property, Potawatomi Casino Hotel Carter who opened their own Rock & Brews Restaurants location today. KISS member and rock legend Gene Simmons was in attendance, expressing his kind sentiments toward the Forest County Potawatomi Community and their strong relationship with the Rock & Brews brand. He mentioned feeling like he was a part of the Potawatomi family—a tie that the Potawatomi brand wholeheartedly agrees with. The crowd also heard good words and thank yous from Potawatomi Casinos and Hotels CEO Dominic R. Ortiz, FCPC Vice Chairwoman Heather VanZile, Rock & Brews CEO Adam Goldberg, and Potawatomi Carter Casino Hotel GM, Leigh Redington. Thank you to our partners at Greenfire Management Services, LLC, I-5 Design Build, and more, who helped us get this project completed within the targeted timelines. The end product of everyone's hard work and collaboration is an absolutely stunning restaurant and a brand-new and much-needed amenity at the Northwoods property. Congratulations again to the Carter team for this amazing feat and to the many Milwaukee Team Members who helped guide this project, Thank You! 📸 : Clarissa Friday

On Friday, June 28, our longtime colleague, Kathy Schofield, said goodbye to Potawatomi Casino Hotel and her twenty-one-and-a-half-year roost in the Firekeeper's Club as she retired. Our team ensured Kathy had a proper send-off with a fun surprise party spearheaded by her supervisor, VIP Services Manager Stephen Kenney, CEO Dominic R. Ortiz, and CMO Alexx Zawada. Dominic presented Kathy with a Pendleton blanket and $1,000 cash in a room full of her peers, staff, colleagues, and friends. As she bid adieu, Kathy shared, " In one way or another, our paths have crossed, and who knows, maybe they will again. I will think of you all often and also the job I have loved doing in the Fire Keeper Club. How appropriate that the old Manager goes out with the old club and a new one comes in with the new. I will be stopping in here as I am sure I will miss some of these wonderful restaurants. I will have happy memories from our conversations in meetings, our good laughs and good friendships. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you. And now... I start the next chapter of my life." Kathy and her family will be celebrating her retirement with an Alaskan cruise. We thank you for your dedication and service in your role. You will be dearly missed!

On Sunday, June 16, Nicole Sedivy and Anthony Foster aired an episode of their show, Deer Wisconsin, on WDJT CBS 58 filmed here at Potawatomi Sportsbook. The episode features an interview with our Executive Chef, Ben Jones. He gives the pair a tour, introduces them to The Kitchen at Potawatomi Sportsbook's best food and drinks, and encourages them to see what it feels like to kick their feet up in front of the massive screen. Special thanks to our partner, Jim Collins for collaborating with our Potawatomi Casino Hotel team, Sarah Neubauer and Luis Olmos. 📽 See the full interview: https://lnkd.in/giDaZPJb

We are fortunate to have many team members who have been with us for years. Still, we are particularly lucky to have team members like Sandra Moore, who has been at Potawatomi Casino Hotel for 25 years. Sandra joined Potawatomi in 1999 when we were known as Potawatomi Bingo Casino. When asked about her favorite memories over the years at Potawatomi, she said, “Talking to all the team members in my department and learning the knowledge they have to offer.” The Revenue Audit team would like to thank Sandra for her dedication and positive attitude over the past 25 years. In recognition of her service, she was presented with a 25-year custom-framed plaque with her anniversary date and $750 cash. Thank you for sharing so much of your time and effort with us. We appreciate you! Cheers to many more years. 📸 : Kory Coronado 📝 : Dawn Gardin

Snoop Dogg brought the West Coast vibes to Milwaukee for a legendary kickoff to the Potawatomi Amplified series. This is a taste of what's to come as we're already gearing up for Tejano Fest on July 27th and 28th. We want to thank our amazing partners, team members, executive council, and guests, who all came together to make this night unforgettable.
