Patient care is more than our job. It is our passion. We will advance wellness, relieve suffering, develop and educate.
About us
Parkland Health first opened its doors in 1894 and is now one of the largest public hospital systems in the country. The hospital averages more than 1 million outpatient visits annually. Services include a Level I Trauma Center, the only verified burn center in North Texas and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The system also includes 20 community-based clinics, including primary care and women's clinics, 12 school-based clinics and numerous outreach and education programs. Parkland is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Despite our growth for more than 100 years, our mission and vision remain the same – to care for you and your family. Thank you for choosing Parkland.

Thank you The Concilio for partnering with us!
In observance of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, we were honored to host Parkland Health's Mental Health Symposium at our headquarters. This important event focused on racial and systemic inequities that impact behavioral health, bringing together a panel of esteemed experts to discuss the challenges minority communities face in accessing mental health care. It was a vital opportunity for community partners to unite and become informed allies in creating a more equitable mental health system. We are proud to support Parkland Health's mission! The power of partnership: making progress toward a stronger mental healthcare system for Dallas County! Parkland Health is proud to partner with Metrocare Services to bring its new Mental Health & Disability Innovation Center to life in Dallas. Significant progress was on full display during a recent celebration of a construction milestone on our community partner’s Hillside Campus. The center will play a key role in providing ongoing mental healthcare for those who need it, but don’t need to be hospitalized for it. This project is a shining example of how partnerships are critical as we work toward our common goal of a healthier Dallas County.
