Pride Month is a time to celebrate love, diversity, and the spirit of giving. By supporting organ, eye, and tissue donation, we stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, honoring their contributions and supporting their health and well-being. Together, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy, fulfilling life. Let's make this Pride Month not only a celebration of who we are but also a commitment to saving lives through the profound gift of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Your generosity can make a lasting difference. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈❤️

📚Empowering Young Minds: Ambassadors to High School Training was a Success! 📚 Thrilled to share the success of our Ambassador to High School training! Partnering with our Community Outreach team, we aimed to empower ambassadors to educate high schoolers on organ, eye, and tissue donation decisions when applying for their license. Throughout the training, ambassadors gained a deep understanding of donation processes, impact on lives, and effective and engaging communication strategies. Now equipped with knowledge and passion, our ambassadors are ready to make a difference by engaging with high school students and encouraging donation consideration before receiving licenses. By reaching young minds and fostering compassion, we are building a brighter, healthier future for our communities. Congratulations to our dedicated ambassadors for their commitment to our life-saving mission! #AmbassadorTraining #HighSchoolEducation #DonateLife #CommunityEmpowerment #FutureLeaders OneLegacy Yulissa Garcia Lizarraga Daisy Colin Cynthia Rochin Adrianne G.

Today, OneLegacy hosted a General Staff Meeting at our conference center in Azusa, CA where we invited TEDx speaker, Dan Trommater, Magician and Keynote Speaker, to help expand our perspective and way of thinking. With the theme of "Getting Unstuck: We've Always Done It That Way", we worked through some practical exercises and techniques to question the status quo and increase our capacity for creative solutions to today's challenges. A culture of reinvesting into our staff and leadership is one of the many reasons why OneLegacy is the employer of choice for nearly 500 individuals committed to the mission of saving and healing lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. #OneLegacy

For the past 22 years, OneLegacy's Donate Life Rose Parade® float has inspired people worldwide to save and heal lives with the powerful message of organ, eye, and tissue donation. The Let Your Life Soar float features a vibrant scene inspired by the beloved Japanese celebration of Children’s Day. Colorful Koi No Bori (Flying Fish Flags) or windsocks shaped like fish, fly overhead. Streamers bear the family crest, followed by koinobori in a sequence representing father, mother, and children in order of birth. The scales of the koi fish highlight memorial floragraph portraits, in recognition of the wider family of organ donors and the donation community, bringing the gift of life to grateful recipients. The fish windsocks soar over a garden of flowering trees, featuring stone lanterns and a beautiful bridge. Organ, eye and tissue recipients will ride on the float, sharing the gratitude they feel for their donors’ gift of life. Living donors will walk alongside the float, showing the power of living donation. As the world's most visible campaign, the OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade® float inspires viewers to save and heal hundreds of thousands of people needing organ, eye, and tissue transplants each year. #OneLegacy #OneLegacyDonateLifefloat #pasadena #Roseparade #tournamentofroses #donatelife

Earlier this week, OneLegacy and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center came together in a touching Flag Raising Ceremony. It was a heartfelt moment as the Donate Life flag was proudly displayed, symbolizing the profound impact of organ, eye, and tissue donation. The respectful display of this flag is a gentle reminder of our shared belief: that donation has the power to save lives. It acts as a beacon of hope, gently inspiring others and spreading the message of compassion. A sincere thank you goes out to all the wonderful staff members from ARMC who graced the ceremony with their presence. Your dedication and commitment to this noble cause are truly appreciated. Together, let us continue to honor the precious gift of life, raising awareness and extending kindness through the act of donation. 💙 💚 #DonateLifeMonth #OrganDonation #OneLegacy

People like you save lives each and every day! In honor of #DonateLifeMonth, team members from #SouthwestHealthcare Inland Valley Hospital and OneLegacy gathered together in honor of all organ donors and donor recipients. Since 2022, 40 lives have been saved at Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital through the gift of life from 14 donors. OneLegacy Ambassador, Kat, shared her story and expressed how amazed she was by the amount of care and compassion that went into trying to save the life of her 11-year-old son, Christopher. Though he had passed on, she had this to share. "I don't think about him with sadness. I think about the happiness he brings to all the lives he helped saved." Through organ donation, Christopher saved 5 lives. 💖 To learn how you can give the #GiftOfLife, start by following OneLegacy. 💚💙 #OrganDonation

USC Arcadia Hospital Celebrates Donate Life Month   The USC Arcadia Hospital team joined with OneLegacy this week to celebrate National Donate Life Month by flying the Donate Life flag over our hospital to help inspire people to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors. We also fly the flag to recognize and honor those that have saved lives through the gift of donation. “The dedicated staff members from both OneLegacy and our hospital share a very similar mission: In our own unique way, we strive to do all in our power to save lives and improve the quality of life for our patients,” said hospital President and CEO Ike Mmeje. “National Donate Life Month recognizes the generosity of those who have saved and enhanced lives by becoming organ, eye, and tissue donors, while also highlighting the critical need for more people to sign up to be donors.” More than 46,000 lifesaving transplants were performed in the U.S. in 2023, an increase of nearly 9 percent from 2022. However, the need for lifesaving transplants continues. Currently, there are more than 20,000 people in California who are waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant, but there are simply not enough donors to meet the growing need. We encourage you to consider becoming an organ or tissue donor today. You can register at the local DMV or please visit www.OneLegacy.org/Register to learn more.
