Last week, the Commerce team toured Continental Carbon in Ponca City alongside Rep. Ken Lutrell and Sen. Bill Coleman and the Ponca City Development Authority. Continetnal Carbon is a world leader in the production of carbon black, which is used to make industrial rubber, tires and a variety of other products. Companies like Continental Carbon play an important role in Oklahoma's "more of everything" energy approach.

This $400 million project along the Oklahoma River is being facilitated by the Oklahoma Leverage Act, an incentive program through Commerce.
