We’re sending a big thank you to all of the young people, ASAP Youth Leaders, elected officials, and supporters who attended last week’s AAPI-LEAD youth leadership conference! Since its founding in 2022, AAPI-LEAD has guided youth from across the New York Metro area through four days of workshops and trainings on the major issues impacting young AAPI New Yorkers today. We’re especially grateful to longtime friends of CACF’s Asian American Student Advocacy Project, Senator John Liu and NYC Comptroller Brad Lander for participating in a panel discussion and Q and A with our attendees about government service and the importance of building relationships with the communities they represent in office. 👋 Stay tuned for news about AAPI-LEAD’s second cohort of the summer when the conference returns this August!
