Parking Advisory: Beginning Monday, July 8, the entrance to P2 North Parking at the Empire State Plaza will be closed through the end of the year for maintenance. P2 North Permit holders will be rerouted to the P2 South parking entrance and can access P-2 North parking by following the posted detour signs. Construction contractors! Bid documents are now available for Phase 1 of the Jones Beach East Bathhouse Rehabilitation Project: Provide Abatement & Partial Demolition. The rehabilitation of the Jones Beach State Park East Bathhouse is part of Governor Hochul’s #NYSWIMS initiative that recognizes drowning as the leading cause of death for children ages 1-4 and that climate change will increase extreme heat events. When complete, the Bathhouse will feature a fully accessible learn-to-swim pool and spray park, making it safer for New Yorkers to enjoy the water.
