Throughout their internship, they'll work closely with our Creative, Finance, Intelligence Labs, Live Games, Localization, Marketing, and Western Development teams on hands-on projects tailored to each department's goals.   In addition, our internship program offers opportunities for professional development including mentorship, workshops, and networking events. This week, Nexies gathered to commemorate Juneteenth. Throughout the office were QR codes for employees to scan and learn more about Juneteenth. In addition, we had the opportunity to support and spotlight several local black-owned businesses. Nexies enjoyed delicious food and treats from Crustee’s Eatery, Cobblermania, and Lettuce Feast. Thank you to these businesses for providing us with amazing dishes.   Nexies also participated in training sessions focused on team-building exercises that emphasized the importance of psychological safety, understanding cultural values, and diverse communication styles. It provided time for our team members to share their perspectives on these important topics.   By coming together, we not only enhanced our skills but also deepened our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone’s voice is heard and valued. We were privileged to volunteer our time at Midnight Mission, a cornerstone of support in Skid Row, Los Angeles. Nexies embodied our commitment to community service by serving hot meals and sorting donations, making an impact in the lives of individuals and families within the SoCal homeless community. Last week, some of our Nexies had a chance to attend GDC and interact with other gaming professionals. We had 3 different presentations across our Nexon umbrella: “Maple Story” Global Localization, Character and Humor on “Dave the Diver”, and Real World Economy with “MapleStory Universe”.
