Our visit to the 25th Annual Meeting of the RNA Society of Japan at the University of Tokyo for our 50-stop world tour was a great opportunity to meet some of you and showcase our #RNA-related reagents and tools, and to share our 50th anniversary celebration events! We look forward to continuing to celebrate this anniversary with you all, and congratulations to the scientists who found a golden butterfly at our booth!

We love a satisfying magnetic separation, how about you?
So satisfying! 🧬🧬🧬 🧬🧬🧬 🧬🧬🧬 Bead cleanup step using New England Biolabs #ultraexpress protocol for mRNA-Seq Bead cleanup is an extremely important (and laborious) step in mRNA-seq library preparation. It has many uses, but the primary goal is to keep what you want and discard everything else without losing too much functional material. #rnaseq #illumina #neurobiology

New England Biolabs research scientist Sean Lund, Ph.D., will be presenting quick and accessible methods NEBridge® Golden Gate Assembly allows for DNA sequence manipulation on July 11th at 1pm EST. Learn about predictive tools our researchers have built that can be used with Golden Gate Assembly for a variety of applications. After the webinar, we will be hosting a discussion with the opportunity to ask questions. Register for the next webinar in the NEBTV series — if you can't attend the live webinar we will provide access on-demand. https://lnkd.in/esW9h37S

New England Biolabs scientists establish a workflow for high-throughput #nanopore #sequencing of #fosmid clones, accurately sequencing 96 fosmids in a single run. This new method relies on direct fosmid amplification from bacterial colonies using phi29 polymerase, avoiding the need for liquid culturing or fosmid purification. Our scientists also detail a companion pipeline that facilitates parallel de novo assembly of fosmid DNA insert sequences.
