The National Space Intelligence Center is the Department of Defense’s primary source for space intelligence and is the Space Force’s service intelligence center. NSIC is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio. The organizational location of this position: National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), Operating Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Description: The Acquisition Team lead continually studies, reviews, and evaluates program progress and acquisition strategies relating to the Center’s yearly Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and/or Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) funding execution(s). The team lead also plans and performs program management activities and support on behalf of the NSIC S5/8 function to include: acquisition support, technical guidance, program management discipline integration, requirements management oversight, management of procurement activities, support agreement management, budget allocation and control, contracting support, financial management, and logistics maintenance aspects. Qualified candidates will have a solid understanding of RF signals analysis. Ideal candidates will have a background in both intelligence analysis and space systems (especially satellite communications and electromagnetic interference). Ideal Candidate: Will have prior experience as a military signals analyst (e.g., 1N2 and/or a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar degree) Additionally, the incumbent will lead a small team and have previous demonstrated leadership experience. Key Skills and Abilities: 1.
