Last month, National Fuel celebrated the culmination of Junior Achievement of WNY's annual Bowl-A-Thon event. NFG was crowned the top fundraising company for the second year in a row, bringing in over $20,000 for JA of WNY! 🌟 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨! 🌟 Today, we're introducing you to three more of the talented young professionals working with us this summer. Next up in our #NFGSummerInternSpotlight Series: 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙣 𝙆. - a rising senior at Rochester Institute of Technology who’ll graduate with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety. This summer with our Risk Department, Caitlin is working on updating Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans by checking changes in different facilities and reorganizing data to implement into a new Waste Management System. She’s looking forward to learning how she can use what she’s learned in a real job setting and has enjoyed meeting new people. Caitlin’s career goals include exploring the field of environmental health and safety to find a job that is both enjoyable and rewarding. 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙖 𝙂. - who is spending this summer as a Legal Clerk in our Legal Department. She is pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at University at Buffalo School of Law. At National Fuel, Amelia is conducting research on a variety of legal issues including administrative law and regulatory practices. She is looking forward to gaining more insight into in-house legal work and learning from National Fuel’s attorneys. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues and learning more about in-house legal work. In the future, Amelia hopes to pass the bar exam and become an attorney. 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙈. - who is pursuing his Juris Doctor degree at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. This summer with our Legal Department as a Legal Clerk, Miles is working on legal and regulatory research to assist in-house counsel. He enjoys the friendly people at National Fuel who want to help him succeed, and he’s looking forward to learning how in-house counsel in the energy sector operates. Seneca's charitable giving committee recently awarded a grant to the Tioga County Moving Wall Project to help cover the cost of flying a Huey helicopter, which saw combat in the Vietnam War, to the exhibit. For many Veterans, seeing the Huey is more than a nostalgic experience. It is a powerful symbol of their service and sacrifice, providing a therapeutic connection that evokes memories of camaraderie and resilience. Dozens of Veterans, their families, and community members traveled to witness the landing and get a close look at the historic helicopter.

A look at July’s Young Professional’s Program ⭐️ This month, Brad Hahn planned an afternoon in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. The Young Professionals started with a private tour of St. Stanislaus Church with Father Cole, took a walking tour of the neighborhood with resident docent Patra, and ended the day with a happy hour with Chris from Eugene V. This year, all four of our #employeeresourcegroups were able to nominate nonprofit organizations to receive grant funding though the National Fuel Gas Company Foundation. Today, we're highlighting the orgs chosen by EDGEFuel, National Fuel's Ethnically Diverse Group of Employees. EDGEFuel nominated the below organizations due to their significant impact on the Buffalo, NY and Erie, Pa. minority communities. Their missions align with that of EDGE, and by providing grant funding these organizations are able to continue their impactful work. The opportunity to identify organizations to receive grant funding is important to EDGE because, "investing in non-profits that address core aspects of EDGE’s mission helps to create a more significant impact within the Buffalo and Erie communities." First up: 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙣 𝙃. - an Industrial and Operations Engineering major at the University of Michigan who’s spending her summer in our Engineering Department. Quinn is working on various projects, and is most looking forward to expanding her knowledge on the natural gas business as a whole. Her favorite part about National Fuel is the welcoming community that genuinely wants to help her succeed. 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙊𝙡𝙜𝙖 𝙄. - a student at Mercy University pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Data Analytics. She is working with our Consumer Business team analyzing customer service data to improve performance and helping at outreach events. Olga has enjoyed the close and family-like nature of the Consumer Business Department, and she is looking forward to seeing how different departments at National Fuel work together. In the future, Olga hopes to pursue a career in the financial services industry where she can serve clients and continue to hone her skills. 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙂𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝙕. - a student at Syracuse University College of Law. This summer, she is spending her time as a Legal Clerk with National Fuel’s Legal department. Gabriela is enjoying her time working with National Fuel’s attorneys and feels she has gained a deeper insight into the operations of in-house counsel.
