Helping improve the lives of 40 million older adults by 2030.
About us
Since 1950, we’ve walked beside generations of Americans. We were the first national voice for older adults. We helped end mandatory retirement. We advocated to secure Medicare, Medicaid, and the Older Americans Act. Local organizations turned to us for support as they served older adults every day. At NCOA, we deliver the resources, digital tools, best practices, and advocacy our nation needs to ensure that every person can age with health and financial security. Because aging well for all is a matter of equity. A matter of dignity. And a matter of justice.

🔔🚨ACTION ALERT! 🚨🔔 On its 59th anniversary, help us urge Congress to reinvest in the #OlderAmericansAct in 2024. The nation’s #AgingServices network is already struggling to assist the growing number of older adults who need help with their health, independence, and finances. To make matters worse, there are calls for budget cuts of more than 20% to the #OAA and other critical programs. Use our online form to send a personalized letter to the lawmakers who represent you. It takes just a few minutes—but can have a lasting impact on all Americans' ability to age with dignity and security. Make your voice heard now.👇 https://act.ncoa.org/a/oaa

🚨BREAKING! 🚨Although #Obesity is a dangerous chronic disease affecting millions of Americans, not all forms of obesity treatment are currently covered by private insurance and #Medicare, including #AntiObesityMedications.
