Juneteenth is more than a commemoration of freedom; it's a celebration of resilience, culture, pursuit of justice, progress, and unity.   That's why our employee-owners across MyPath sponsored and participated in Juneteenth events in two of our hometowns this month.   The first celebration occurred in Lafayette, IN, where MyPath proudly returned as an event sponsor to honor and celebrate Juneteenth.   The second celebration occurred at Milwaukee's 53rd Juneteenth Celebration - the nation's oldest and longest-running event that draws over 50,000 attendees yearly.   Seeing our diverse and dedicated leaders and employee-owners from various MyPath locations and states coming together to engage with the community is a constant source of inspiration.   We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who joined us and contributed to making these Juneteenth celebrations successful. AND published author Ameer Tahir gave a virtual "author talk" to students. 📖 He discussed his love of literature and inspiration for writing before explaining the steps to becoming a published author. Ameer shared tips and tricks for writing, illustrating, and publishing, and his book has been used as a mentor text for students as they navigate through their writing process. Ameer's author talk was both informational and inspiring! We appreciate his time for our students.
