About us

At MML Hospitality, we are on a mission to create the world’s chicest restaurants and hotels. Led by visionary hotelier Liz Lambert, and powerhouse restauranteurs Larry McGuire & Tom Moorman, we believe in a seamless combination of food, service, and design. We create refined hospitality through attention to detail, storytelling, and extraordinary dining and retail experiences. We currently manage and own the 75-room Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans, and we have two hotel projects in development in Aspen and in Austin that we will also own and manage. In addition to the nearly twenty restaurants, we currently operate or have under development, MML is also the F&B consultant at the Austin Proper Hotel, overseeing three restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining across the property. MML has a unique plan to own and operate each of its properties and the financial backing to only take on special projects in places we want to spend time.

    Each quarter at MML, we recognize an employee across all our restaurants who shows outstanding performance, teamwork, leadership, creativity, and reliability, amongst other qualities. We proudly give Employee of the Quarter to Pedro Garcia of Word of Mouth Fine Catering. Pedro has been with MML Hospitality for 7+ years, but most recently as Event Staff at Word of Mouth Fine Catering. He brings true leadership to every event with organization and enthusiasm, helping to lead a team that runs like a well-oiled machine. Go, Pedro! We appreciate you. We want to be more like you.

This week's spotlight is Jenny Bankston, the General Manager of Lou's Eastside. Q: How long have you worked at MML Hospitality? And at what locations? A: A year and a half ago, I was bar manager at Joann's before my recent move to Lou's. Q: What's your Lou's order? A: Greek salad with a falafel patty, extra dressing, and Cholula, but if I'm feeling indulgent, the fried chicken tossed in Tennessee hot <3 Q: What does your perfect day in Austin look like? A: Stay in bed for way too long, grab a coffee and catch up on some reading, have dinner with my girlfriends at Sammie's or Clark's, and listen to some jazz at Elephant Room.
