The discussion focused on alternative pathways for individuals and methods for companies to keep their employees and work authorizations after the H-1B lottery. Amber’s extensive experience in immigration law gives her expert insight into the intricacies of immigration processes and in finding other options for companies to retain valuable foreign employees. Messner Reeves LLP was honored to participate as a sponsor of the 2024 Patrick Surtain II’s Football2Fashion event held on June 3rd to raise funds for the Patrick Surtain II Foundation.  The Patrick Surtain II Foundation aids in leveling the playing field for students in financially disadvantaged communities by ensuring that students have the same access to educational resources as their suburban peers. Partners Simone Montoya and Bruce Montoya, along with Bruce’s wife, Ruth, attended with Dr. David Verbelyi and his wife, Christina Jordan. The event included a silent auction and display of rare memorabilia, followed by a live auction featuring Patrick Surtain II and a few of his Denver Broncos teammates. Proceeds from this year’s event will help fund Patrick’s Inspiration Rooms for Title I Denver schools. Inspiration Rooms are designed to inspire Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) education. The first two rooms are scheduled to open this summer.
