A #Green future to all of us! Last week, I had the privilege of being part of the ManpowerGroup delegation at #Gen_E2024, one of the most important European competitions for young entrepreneurs, by JA Europe 🌍. For many years, #ManpowerGroup has proudly partnered with #JuniorAchievement because we believe it is crucial to provide opportunities for developing essential skills to navigate the world of work, whether it involves building one's own business or making significant contributions in any chosen professional field. 💡 However, we must be able to align these experiences with the evolving scenario and new needs of companies for the future. That's why we took this chance for a great conversation on one of the most significant transformations in the labor market: the green revolution 🌱. Today, 70% of companies aim to integrate green jobs, but there is a significant skills gap for these roles. According to ManpowerGroup's "Green Business Transformation" report, 75% of companies believe there is a shortage of green skills, and a staggering 94% admit they are struggling to find people who can help them meet their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) commitments 📊. These challenges were at the heart of my discussion with Carlo Chiattelli EY and Frederique Naulette Nestlé. We explored how AI predictive analysis can support education investement on #genZ and how big Companies leading the green transformation are setting programs and initiatives to lead the green transition promoting sustainability 🌿. As ManpowerGroup, along with our #HumanAgeInstitute Foundation, we are committed to making a meaningful contribution by participating in a grant led by JA Europe and funded by the EU. This initiative aims to design and implement micro-credentials for green skills 🔄. The project will provide targeted learning opportunities to support upskilling and reskilling in relation to the digital and green transitions.
