The Lindt & Sprüngli Group - premium chocolate for more than 175 years Lindt & Sprüngli is recognized as a leader in the market for premium quality chocolate, offering a large selection of products in more than 120 countries around the world. During 175 years of Lindt & Sprüngli's existence, it has become known as one of the most innovative and creative companies making premium chocolate. The beginnings of Lindt & Sprüngli are in 1845, when father and son for the first time manufactured solid chocolate in their small confectionery Sprüngli & Son, at that time yet a partnership. Since then, the company has gone through many different eras, but the entrepreneurial spirit and passion for making chocolate that drove both the Sprüngli family as well as Rodolphe Lindt, when he invented the first truly melting chocolate and later on sold his business to Sprüngli, are still alive. Today, quality chocolate products by Lindt & Sprüngli are made at 12 own production sites in Europe and the USA. They are distributed by 32 subsidiary companies and branch offices, in more than 500 own stores, and also via a comprehensive network of more than 100 independent distributors around the globe. With more than 14,000 employees, the Lindt & Sprüngli Group reported sales of CHF 4.97 billion in 2022.

Someone who truly embodies this #passion is our Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler. 🍫 Born and raised in Switzerland, Thomas has turned his childhood fascination with chocolate into a #career. After completing his training as a confectioner, he moved Down Under to become a Master Chocolatier at Lindt & Sprüngli Australia where he crafts and develops unique chocolate creations.     As of today, Ana Maria Dominguez will be part of the Lindt & Sprüngli Group Management. With her experienced #leadership and #passion, she will be a valuable addition to the current management team. Ana brings more than 30 years of experience from multinational #FMCG companies in South and North America including several CEO positions in the US and Canada. She joined the Lindt & Sprüngli Group in 2019 as CEO of the Canadian subsidiary and in 2022, she was appointed CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli USA, leading the subsidiary in the world’s largest chocolate market. We wish Ana a good start in her new role and all the best as she relocates to our headquarters in Kilchberg, Switzerland. #WeEnchantTheWorldWithChocolate

    Last week, a selected group of senior leaders had the opportunity to gather in Lausanne for the 8th annual Lindt & Sprüngli #IMD Senior Leadership Program. Through coaching sessions and team-building activities, the participants strengthened their #leadership skills and strategic mindset to successfully guide their teams in a rapidly evolving business landscape. In addition, participants engaged in fruitful discussions on topics such as digital transformation, the use of artificial intelligence, and sustainability. These sessions provided valuable insights into how these critical areas can be seamlessly integrated into Lindt & Sprüngli’s #growth agenda, to ensure the company's continued and long-term #success. #WeEnchantTheWorldWithChocolate #GrowTogether

    🎁 To celebrate the 100th anniversary of our French factory in Oloron-Sainte-Marie at the foot of the Pyrenees, Lindt & Sprüngli France opened its doors to partners, local institutions, and journalists for a glimpse behind the scenes. 👨🍳 Besides an insightful guided tour of the factory, the visitors were able to personalize their own #chocolate bar with the help of our Lindt Master Chocolatier Arnaud Ragot. To conclude the celebrations and mark this symbolic date, country CEO Jean-Baptiste Jarry unveiled a sculpture of the Lindt Master Chocolatier's famous toque and whisk. 🍫 The Oloron factory is #significant for the Lindt & Sprüngli Group, as it specializes in the production of chocolate bars and Christmas products – up to 1000 employees work on site to help enchant the world with chocolate.

    On Friday, Lindt & Sprüngli celebrated the opening of the plant extension to the Lindt Cocoa Center in Olten, Switzerland, after around three years of construction. With this significant #expansion, the Group reaffirmed its #commitment to Switzerland as a production location. The facility has been producing cocoa mass for the Lindt brand since 1991, and is now the largest and most important cocoa mass plant within our #global production network. Today, the facility supplies Swiss cocoa mass to several of Lindt & Sprüngli’s European production sites. During the opening ceremony, Marco Peter, CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli Switzerland, highlighted the key role the plant is to play in the future of the entire Group: “As a state-of-the-art and efficient cocoa mass plant, the Lindt Cocoa Center in Olten is crucial for further #growth.” #WeEnchantTheWorldWithChocolate #GrowTogether

    Yesterday, the Lindt & Sprüngli Group welcomed around 2,000 of its valued #shareholders to the 126. Annual General Meeting at its traditional venue, the Kongresshaus Zürich. The #event was centered around our iconic brand #Lindor, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. On this occasion, our shareholders were able to taste over 20 different Lindor flavors on site, offered by our Lindt Maîtres Chocolatiers. The Lindt & Sprüngli Group was able to present yet another #successful financial year 2023, despite an inflationary business environment and record-high cocoa prices. The shareholders were accordingly pleased with the course of business and all proposals were approved. #WeEnchantTheWorldWithChocolate #AGM
