Change management is an integral piece of the puzzle when making EMR process improvements. It’s important to follow a change management plan which involves rigorous testing and approval from a change management team before it can be implemented. While the changes may provide a solution to longstanding issues, many of us do not like change so your team may be wary to buy-in. To ensure your team buys in make sure you communicate the benefits and reasoning as it will have a significant impact on the outcome of the implemented change.

It is always great to see an increased effort for patient access, with the rising difficulties of cost, transportation, and time it is nice to see hospitals making a concerted effort in supporting the health of their community. What do you think about the scalability of this trend, share your thoughts.
