One of the many actions we take during Tier 2 & 3 HeatRisk Severe Weather Activations is the distribution of cooling supplies to local service providers. As of Friday morning, we have distributed over 3,600 bottles of water/electrolyte beverages—with more coming as the activation continues. Since July 5, KCRHA staff members have been working with other agencies and organizations to distribute supplies and set up cooling spaces throughout the community. Today, we shifted to Tier 2 protocols, and will remain activated at that level through Sunday. https://lnkd.in/gQyjCxDi
