It's time for an exciting update on our progress on the historic Farmhouse in Abilene, KS! 🏠 Below are the renderings from our first architectural meeting to determine the direction of the building. The renovations would start by taking off the additions that have been added to the house over the years, to restore it to the original house. We would then build those additions back better, leaving the original house structure restored and the added sections built to withstand the future test of time! A congratulations is in order for Chris Benninger, who was named Mokas first Roastery Operating Partner! Chris has been with Mokas Coffee & Eatery and JRI Hospitality for over three years and has been an essential member of our team focusing on all things coffee.     Chris roasts all of the coffee in-house for two of our entities, Mokas Coffee & Eatery and Chompie's Deli, and directs the distribution. He ensures that quality and consistency goals are met across the board!    The JRI Restaurant Operating Bonus Program is a 5-year vested program for all Restaurant Operating Partners within JRI Hospitality. We're excited to share an update on The Farmhouse community project. 🏡 At the moment, our team is working on turning our inspirational ideas into a final plan. The project will be completed in phases, starting with focusing on the house itself. Once phase one is successful, we plan to include farm or garden plots for small farmers or gardeners to grow organic crops for our chef-inspired menu. 🥬🥕🥔 Below is a first rendering of what that might look like. Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened another location in Tuscon, Arizona on Sunday, June 23rd! Located at Tuscon Marketplace, this is Freddy's 6th location to open in Tuscon, AZ. 🍔 🍟 Partnering with Healing Arizona Veterans, this non-profit group sponsors the treatment of military veterans suffering from combat-related TBI and PTSD. 10% of all regular and large-sized frozen custard sales will be donated through July 23rd. 🍦 #JRIHospitality #GrandOpening #Franchising

Congratulations to Miquo Zimmer, the Mokas Café Restaurant Operating Partner in our Salina, Kansas location! We recently celebrated her achievement for being a part of our ROP bonus program! This week for our #JRIHospitality Staff Highlight, we'd like to introduce April Beevers, Restaurant Operating Partner at Mokas - Wichita, KS. ☕ As a Restaurant Operating Partner, April is responsible for the ins and outs of all things Mokas. From managing the Wichita, Kansas location to leading her entire team to success, April has brought endless amounts of positive energy to the community for the past 2+ years. April has been in the world of food and beverage for almost 20 years and has always loved how every day there is a new challenge to take on. One of the biggest challenges she faced was bringing a new concept to a new city. She led her team and built success from the ground up through hard work, dedication, and involving herself with the community. "Developing relationships with guests and team members, and going above and beyond to make that connection is one of my favorite parts of the job", says April. This week, we'd like to highlight Brian Becker, or as we like to call him- the official Chompie's Ambassador and spokesperson. 🥯🎤 Brian has been a part of the Chompie's family for 35 years, and continues to put a smile on everyone's face everyday. Brian learned all about the hospitality businesses from his first job at his parent's boutique in the Chicago area. Ever since then, Brian treats every day like a movie with different characters that he loves being the center of!
