Over the past year, MCGI has been dedicated to providing more educational resources for our patients and the Maine oncology community. 🎉 We're excited to share our latest video, "What is Genetic Testing.": https://lnkd.in/ge6z9bWZ Learn the difference between genetic and biomarker testing and how understanding your genetic cancer risk can empower you and your family. A big thank you to all our internal and external team members and advocates who made this video possible. We hope to continue expanding our educational content and look forward to sharing more valuable video resources in the future! The Jackson Laboratory

Daisy Lockshire started learning about genetics and analyzing DNA when she was in 10th grade at the University High School of Science and Engineering in Hartford. The curriculum – titled Teaching the Genome Generation – was designed by staff at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), and now Lockshire, who is heading into her senior year at the University of Pennsylvania, has found herself participating in the 100th year of JAX’s Summer Student Program (SSP). #ctnewsjunkie #ctpolitics
