ITCO - International Tank Container Organisation

Established in 1998, the International Tank Container Organisation represents the tank container industry to all sectors of the transport community, together with national and international governmental and regulatory bodies. With around 150 members worldwide, ITCO's principle focus is on safety, regulatory, technical and environmental issues. ITCO has a strong focus on enhancing technological and business developments for the sake of quality, health, safety, environment, and Corporate Responsibility in the tank container industry. The organisation designs the frame work and platform for the strengthening and future growth of the global tank container business. With this ITCO contributes to the competitiveness and success of the tank container industry. ITCO Offering: • Network platforms across all tank container divisions, for customers, and partners. • Information, education and advice on technical, regulatory and market developments on a global and regional level • A basis for cross-divisional decision making processes to drive technical/technological/ business enhancements, code of practices, standards and norms as well as guidance for implementation. • Representation of the tank container industry on a global level at regulatory bodies. • Transparent and open communication within the framework of competition law, in particular to member companies, tank container industry as a whole, chemical and food grade industry, young professionals, investors, regulatory bodies and the media. There are five membership divisions: • Tank Container Operators • Tank Container Leasing companies • Tank Container Manufacturers • Tank Service Providers • Inspection, Certification and other Systems/Technology Suppliers   ITCO is governed by an elected Board of Directors, comprising: • President • Vice-President • Chair and Deputy Chair of each of the five divisions
