For professional investors only. Last week, more data was released indicating greater disinflationary progress in the US. Chief Global Market Strategist Kristina Hooper believes the Federal Reserve will cut rates this quarter, and she sees room for more than one cut in 2024. Here's what else Kristina covers in her latest #WeeklyMarketCompass. • While companies have just started to report earnings, Kristina thinks this will be a rather positive earnings season in general. S&P 500 companies are forecasted to deliver earnings growth of 9.3% for the second quarter – which would be the highest year-over-year earnings growth rate reported since the first quarter of 2022. • The new UK Labour government announced the launch of a multi-billion pound national wealth fund whose objective is to grow the UK economy through the support of green investment and infrastructure development. • China’s Third Plenum kicks off this week. Various reforms are likely at the top of the agenda, and Kristina will be particularly interested in property-related policies, which will be critically important as the sector continues to address lower prices and rising inventory.

In June, our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) came together in Henley and London for our third annual BRG showcases. This was an opportunity for our employees to share the positive impact they are making at Invesco and the various communities they represent. Employees engaged with interactive games and challenges which reinforced the idea of 'One Team' at Invesco. During the London showcase, the Invesco Proud Network (IPN) also came together for one of their many events celebrating #PrideMonth. The evening commenced with a speech from Doug Sharp, IPN's global executive sponsor and Head of the Americas & EMEA, Adrian Mulryan, IPN’s EMEA executive sponsor and CEO of Invesco Investment Management, and Victor Meyer, global co-chair of IPN and Head of Investments Legal. Thank you to our BRGs across Henley and London for putting together an incredible event for our colleagues to enjoy! #LifeatInvesco

"Is your body an ornament or an instrument?" As part of our programming for #PrideMonth, the Invesco Proud Network (IPN) teamed up with with EMEA Mental Wellbeing and the EMEA Tech Wellness group to honour Men's Health Week by hosting a global conversation with Chris Bell. Chris is an academic, speaker and trainer who specialises in physical and mental health, and he joined Invesco for a thoughtful discussion on body image and the role that media and social media play in men's mental health. During his presentation, Chris left our audience with mindset shifts we can all take to foster a healthier body image. One of his points focused on looking at the body as an instrument that allows you to do things that you enjoy. Thank you to Chris for his time, and to our employee-led Business Resources Groups for putting together an insightful program.
