Mithat Can Ozgun is an AI student from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) who is actively seeking #AI and #MachineLearning internship opportunities in the U.S. starting in February 2025. 👋 Meet Tristan Kim, a master’s student in Mechanical Engineering specializing in #Biomechanics from the Delft University of Technology. Tristan was recently awarded the #Dutch2USA grant from The Netherland-America Foundation, providing him financial support to pursue a unique internship in the US! His passion for engineering and sports led him to an exciting internship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Starting in the fall, he will conduct research on elbow joint stability and muscle activation during baseball pitching motion. ⚾ “I look forward to gaining valuable experience, immersing myself in the vibrant culture, and exploring the dynamic working environment that New York has to offer. Our intern Flip Jansen is in the final weeks of his internship at the Fraser Lab, in the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences at University of California, San Francisco. 🧬🔬 🎓 Flip is a master’s graduate in both Nanobiology and Quantitative Finance and a proud alumnus of Erasmus University Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology. He was the first intern to be matched with a mentor through our new mentorship program. A big thank you to Clara Siebert for being a very supportive mentor for him over the past six months! “Being matched with a mentor who has faced many of the same challenges of working in research at UCSF has been incredibly useful and enjoyable. 🌁 Holland in the Valley Alumni Event was a success! Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Netherlands Consulate in San Francisco last week to engage in insightful discussions about the role of universities as innovation drivers. 🚀 We’re grateful to the participating universities for their active support and promotion through their alumni networks.
