It may be summer, but our University Relations team is focused on coast-to-coast fall recruitment events in order to connect with early career candidates and promote the opportunities available to students through our Co-op program. “We have partnered with over 20 universities and attended career events at top universities including the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Tufts University, Northeastern University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of San Diego, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and University of California, San Diego, among many others,” shared Shantel Mays, University Relations. Thanks to the efforts of Shantel and team, students have been placed in various roles including those in Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, Technology, and HR departments, working on-site, hybrid, and remotely across Insulet sites globally. #TeamInsulet

Insulet customers and team members hit the runway in six cities for Diabetes Canada’s Pump Couture Fashion Shows. Our Company was a proud sponsor of the event, which aims to help change the conversation around the stigma of living with diabetes and promote body positivity for people living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The events raised $295,000 which will go towards sending more than 110 children to diabetes camps. Among the more than 30 models wearing Omnipod DASH® were Team Insulet members Alyssa Tangerine, Senior Manager, Consumer & Community; Aina Tarrow and Lindsay Munoz, Clinical Sales Specialists from Canada West; and Amberley Clark, RN, CDE, Clinical Sales Specialist, Canada East. #TeamInsulet

This month there are many new faces at Insulet, as our second co-op program of 2024 begins! Insulet’s co-op program creates ample opportunity for students studying biomedical, mechanical, industrial, and computer engineering; business administration; and supply chain to gain valuable work experience in the medical device industry. Our team recently attended the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) annual conference to share the benefits of our Omnipod products with nurse practitioners and physician's assistants who play a key role in the care team of people living with diabetes. In addition to exhibiting at the show, clinical data highlighted at ADA 2024 on Omnipod® 5 in T2D were presented by Davida Kruger, Henry Ford Health System, and Bethany Long, BSN, RN, CDCES, Insulet, to a packed room.
