After serving as the Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Diversity Officer for Columbia University Athletics, we are proud to announce that Cara Holdsclaw, PhD has been named IBE's Chief Operating Officer. "I am excited for this opportunity," Holdsclaw said. " To be a part of the rich IBE history, driving socioeconomic change for African Americans in the state of Indiana and beyond is something that I am committed and can’t wait to contribute to.” In her new role, Holdsclaw will plan, develop, organize, and have operational oversight of programming and administration for the organization as well as assist and support our President and CEO — Alice Watson — in advancing the organization’s mission.
