iMMAP Inc. is an international nonprofit organization that provides information management services to humanitarian and development partners, enabling them to make informed decisions that ultimately provide high-quality targeted assistance to the world’s most vulnerable populations. We support humanitarian actors to solve operational and strategic challenges. Our pioneering approach facilitates informed and effective emergency preparedness, humanitarian response, and development aid activities by enabling evidence-based decision-making for UN agencies, humanitarian cluster/sector leads, NGOs, and government operations. iMMAP Inc. has been at the forefront of information management support for humanitarian clusters (UN and International NGOs): Logistics, WASH, Health, Protection, Education, Nutrition, Camp Management, Protection, Food Security, and Gender-Based Violence.

    Today we are celebrating 🤸🏽♀️🎉#Youth across the world who are honing their skills to contribute to #Peace and #Development 🕊️ In Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Ethiopia 🇪🇹, we are running internship programs to invest in #InformationManagement skills building for youth and young adults; to date we have trained 124 interns. Our team provides direct #InformationManagement expertise to Adamawa state government actors and Ministries including: the 📚 Ministry of Education; 🏗 Ministry of Reconstruction, Re-integration, Rehabilitation & Humanitarian Services; 🏛️the State Planning Commission, and more recently we have partnered with the 🗣 Civil Society, NGO Coordination and Partner Relations Unit. At the heart ❤️ of our work together, alongside humanitarian and development actors, we seek to find and apply durable solutions to improve the lives, livelihoods, and dignity of people in Nigeria.     iMMAP Inc. stands united with our partners towards strengthening Gender-based Violence (GBV) response efforts and ending #GBV ⚡️ 🧍🧍♂️🧍♀️ In #Ukraine🇺🇦, our team is working with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) across the #GBV Area of Responsibility, Sexual Reproductive Health and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse #PSEA Networks to improve service mapping for GBV survivors through the enhancement of #InformationManagement, data collection and working toward the creation of a robust data validation mechanism. Our work together aims to play a vital role in Ukraine's future #EarlyRecovery efforts, covering law enforcement, judicial reforms, and comprehensive support services for GBV survivors.     Embracing 🧩coordination, 🤝collaboration, 📊Information Management and 🔍 evidence-based planning for durable solutions and recovery in Nigeria 🇳🇬 In Nigeria, iMMAP Inc. actively participated in stakeholders’ engagement workshop, organized by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor of Adamawa state on Civil Society and NGO Coordination, Ms. Asmau Durnin. The workshop brought together🤝 #humanitarian and #development actors to collaborate and work toward enhancing coordination efforts. In line with the workshop, our Country Representative for Nigeria, Amr Kambal, co-led an interactive breakout session to provide insights on the adoption of #InformationManagement and #evidence-based planning to support Adamawa state in the transition from emergency responses to durable solutions and recovery.     📢 We are excited to announce the launch of a new phase of our #ClusterSupportProject in Ukraine 🇺🇦 Led in collaboration with United Nations OCHA and made possible through the support of USAID - Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance - the new phase of this project will allow us to continue, expand and advance on our efforts to provide vital #InformationManagement support to humanitarian actors who continue to navigate the critical situation in 🇺🇦 across various clusters including: 🍞 Food Security & Livelihoods ,💧WASH, ⚕ Health, ⚡ Gender-based Violence response and 🚼Child Protection. Since the inception of the #ClusterSupportProject in April 2022, our #InformationManagementOfficers have developed over 📕 2,216 IM products and 👨🏫 conducted 134 training sessions for 2,349 participants. p.s. - We're also expanding our team! 🙌 Several additional #InformationManagement Officers will be deployed to expand on our support to clusters across various regions of Ukraine. 📸: iMMAP Inc.     Harnessing the 💪 power of information to facilitate evidence-based decisions is at the ❤️ heart of iMMAP Inc.’s work. In #Ethiopia we collaborated with United Nations OCHA to lead on a data management and analysis session for 37 humanitarian actors working across various sectors including #Agriculture, #Health and #Education in the Semara, Afar region. Our iMMAP Inc. #InformationManagementOfficers trained the participants on: 📊Advanced #Excel 📈#QGIS Data Mapping 📲& Mobile Data Collection using KoboToolbox Together, with our partners and through the support of USAID - Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance we will continue to work toward increasing the capacity of our partners to embrace & advance #InformationManagement. 📸: iMMAP Inc.     iMMAP Inc. strives to protect the dignity and rights of the people we and our partners work with through ethical research methods📊 In #Nigeria we launched an initiative to share our ‘Ethical Considerations in Research Assessment’ with our partners, kicking it off with a training with the #DisabilityWorkingGroup (DWG). Our iMMAP Inc. #InformationManagement Officers led the session for 29 participants under the DWG, including representatives from OCHA, the Adamawa State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Yola, the Cedar Foundation for Disability, Christian Blind Mission and more - to increase their capacity on ethical research methods including: ✅ consent, ❔ anonymity, 🔒 confidentiality, 🖊 beneficence, 🤝respect, 🦺safety, and 🟰inclusivity.
