About us
Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI) is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between Israel and the Jewish people, and people of African descent through education and advocacy; condemns the "Zionism is racism" ideology; defends Israel's right to live in peace with its Arab neighbors; and seeks to help cultivate a mutually beneficial Israel-Africa alliance. Through the 1975 United Nations Resolutions 3379 "Zionism is racism" was revoked in 1991, its effects are still felt today as the U.N. constantly condemns Israel while largely ignoring true humanitarian crises all over the Middle East and Africa. IBSI also exposes the hypocrisy of anti-Israel Arab Islamists (such as Hamas) who condone and benefit from the trafficking and sale of African slaves, while feigning solidarity with Black people. IBSI exists to tell the truth about Israel; a multiethnic, liberal democracy that is diverse by choice.

A powerful moment that deserves a re-share: 5 years ago, former Iranian judoka Saeid Mollaei was forced by the Iranian regime to avoid a match with Israeli judoka Sagi Muki due to his Israeli nationality. Mollaei fled to Europe after he criticized the Iranian regime's discriminatory actions, and even dedicated his silver medal win at the Tokyo Olympics to Israel in 2021, thanking the country for its support. Muki and Mollaei subsequently struck up a close friendship, and for the first time, they faced each other last year at the Budapest Grand Slam. Mollaei won the fight, and the two men hugged, sending a powerful message that friendship knows no political bounds. 💙🥋🇮🇱

The view on Israel is different from 7 feet high, and we are very appreciative of professional ball players like Eddy Curry and his wonderful wife Patrice for coming to support Israel. 🇺🇸🇮🇱❤️💙 Here we are in Jerusalem Israel, and Eddy and his wife came to Israel to show support for the country, including promoting sports as a bridge for people to come together, showing support for Israeli's impacted by the war, and particularly to show support for the hostage families. Their visit was made possible by Athletes for Israel, and it's terrific to see so many professional athletes stepping up for Israel at this time.🙏🙏🇺🇸🇮🇱🏀 #israel #sports #community
