We are pleased to introduce "A Time Before Texas," a new traveling exhibition created by Texas Department of Transportation and circulated in partnership with Humanities Texas. "A Time Before Texas" considers both current science and cultural tradition to explore what life was like for the first people to call early Texas home. Humanities Texas's FREE Seadrift film screening in partnership with the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures and Education Center is just over ONE WEEK AWAY! Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gDyvnSvz. Seadrift chronicles racial tensions that divided a small town in the early days of Vietnamese refugee arrival on the Texas Gulf Coast and the possibility of reconciliation in the aftermath of violence. Following the screening, the film’s director, Tim Tsai, will respond to questions from the audience. This series is made possible with funding from the NEH United We Stand initiative.
