Due to widespread power outages, flooding, and downed trees that resulted from Hurricane Beryl, at this time, most Workforce Solutions locations will be closed on Wednesday, July 10. The safety of our staff and community is our top priority. Four Workforce Solutions offices will be open to the public starting Wednesday, July 10. All other Workforce Solutions offices will remain closed. The sites that will open starting tomorrow include: Workforce Solutions Clear Lake Workforce Solutions Rosenberg Workforce Solutions Southwest Workforce Solutions Texas City - Updated address : 10000 Emmett F. 7/10/2024 Update: These counties are part of DR-4781-TX, the disaster declaration declared for counties impacted by the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding that began on April 26. There is currently not a Disaster Assistance Period for Hurricane Beryl. This means DUA is not currently available for individuals and businesses affected by Beryl. TWC is monitoring the situation closely. Anyone impacted by Beryl should apply for Unemployment Insurance benefits. --- 📢 Update: DUA is now available in 40 counties* – adding Anderson, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, and Sabine Counties. ⛈️️ TWC is accepting applications for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) as a result of recent severe weather.
