Creating jobs is a key part of our mission. Our Apprenticeship Program helps Winnebago students explore careers in the trades. They gain real work experience in the community as part of their class schedule. An achievement ceremony earlier this summer recognized the 21 Winnebago High School students who completed the spring semester. Since 2022, 68 students have successfully completed the program. Participating organizations have included HCI Construction, Winnebago Wildlife & Parks Department, EduCare, Ho-Chunk, Inc. IT Department, Winnebago Tribe IT Department, Winnebago Elementary School, Jesus Our Savior Lutheran School, and more! Congratulations to all the apprentices and pinagigi to all the local businesses!
