LASER ENGRAVING INSTEAD OF MILLING???? A few months ago we purchase the MD-X2000A from Jeremy Byers and KEYENCE CORPORATION and we are very happy with the results and value add it brings to the table. We recently ran these sleeves requiring case hardening and black oxide, as well as part number engraving in somewhat of a tricky spot. Prior to this at completion, the engraving could be somewhat tough to read which is not acceptable for us, because we fully understand the intent is to make the replacement process more efficient if ever need be. A big thank you to Ted Verhoff and Vantage Career Center for hosting HLN Machining LLC and the EMT Quick Stop. Ted introduced us to the students and instructors in the industrial maintenance and precision machining courses, as well as others, and the welcome we received was awesome! As a graduate of Vantage Career Center in the far off distance of 2002, I can't express how proud I am to see how much they have grown by leaps and bounds over the years. What Vantage Career Center is doing for multiple industries is immeasurable and should be applauded daily. Everyone in that building was amazingly friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they put everything they have into it every single day they walk in the doors. Not only was there a warm welcome personally, but the EMT Quick Stop was awesomely well received! The students were telling us that they have already been checking it out online before we even got to show it to them, and once they got it in their hands they were even more excited. I am proud to say that we didn't even make it 5 minutes after handing it over and it was already getting hit with coolant and chips. This is the product that, once it gets into your hands and you feel the quality, you see how the handles can lift and rotate out of the way without loosening the bolts, it can be manipulated into hard to reach areas that no other stop can, the rod comes with a collar so you can set your material at zero, move the rod out of your toolpath, and then easily move it back to zero without ever changing position, it instantly clicks for you. By the way, it's also at an amazing price point compared to others. Once you use it, you will never go back to anything else. "This stop will be the industry standard."
