Our Atlanta team proudly partners with Home For Our Troops, a nonprofit that builds homes for severely injured soldiers. Since 2008, Highwoods has been a dedicated corporate sponsor, actively participating in constructing homes for military veterans. One such hero is Staff Sergeant Dan Lister, who was injured by an IED while on duty in Afghanistan in June 2010. Through our collaboration with Homes For Our Troops, SSG Lister and his family received a specially adapted custom home in Georgia. This home, featuring an open layout, aims to provide him with the daily independence he deserves. We deeply honor and appreciate the service and sacrifices of our troops, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support them through this impactful partnership.
