We are proud to be a part of HCA Healthcare, who announced that the HCA Healthcare Foundation, through its Healthier Tomorrow Fund, will donate $1 million over the next three years to the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations to help fund its Career Pathways to a Healthier Florida program. The Career Pathways to a Healthier Florida program aims to help create and expand healthcare career pathways for underserved high school students across the state of Florida. Happy to share that HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital presented the Education Foundation of Okeechobee with a check for $60,000 as part of this grant. Donate blood tomorrow! The Big Red Bus will be at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital from 10:30am - 4:30pm, located at 1796 US Highway 441 North, Okeechobee, FL 34972. All donors will receive a $20 eGift card (good to use at stores like Walmart, Target, Amazon, and more) an insulated tote bag, and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening. Cheers to our volunteers! We continue to celebrate #NationalVolunteerWeek with our annual volunteer appreciation event.
