Our Intern, Owen Carter’s reflection on a journey of growth and achievement… "As my internship journey draws to a close and I head off to graduation, I'm filled with gratitude for the enriching experiences and valuable lessons learned. Interning at the Hajoca National Support Center, every moment has been a stepping stone towards personal and professional growth. During my time here, I've had the privilege to dive deep into the world of social media, crafting engaging posts. I've also worked on ensuring accessibility by auditing website ADA compliance and by adding keywords and alt text to images on our intranet. It's been incredibly rewarding to contribute to creating an inclusive online space where everyone feels welcome. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to flex my creative muscles by crafting and refining various pages on the intranet, shaping content that informs, inspires, and connects our Hajoca teammates. As I embark on the next chapter of my journey, I carry with me the lessons learned, memories made, and friendships forged during this internship.
