Last Wednesday, GRSi hosted our Second Annual Helping Heroes Charity Golf Tournament in support of Friends of Fisher House Charleston, and it was a hole-in-one success! Participants enjoyed an exciting round of golf, delicious food, and the chance to win fantastic prizes.   We extend our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who made this event possible. Our final #internspotlight goes to Dan Johnson, our IT/Data Applications Intern!   "GRSi gave me an opportunity to work on a project involving Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning, both bleeding edge technologies. I became interested in these technologies through my participation in the Data Science Club at the College of Charleston, so I couldn't resist the opportunity to dive in." -Dan Johnson, IT/Data Applications Intern   Dan is a lifelong tinkerer who enjoys using his mind to solve problems. He started out working with small electronics such as the Raspberry Pi and Arduino, and that later grew into a passion for programming and Computer Science.
