Can You Trust Airplane Wifi? 🛩️ 🛜 Here's the bottom line I told the WSJ about privacy on board. 👇 🔐 First off, airplane wifi is not terribly risky. But it is a public wifi network and you should always take precautions when using public wifi. 🥇 Doing the basics like updating your OS, using strong password with multi-factor authentication, and having quality malware-protection software (not the free stuff) is the most important thing you can do. ‼ Don't think that VPNs by themself give you more privacy. This is the most commonly misunderstood privacy concept and it's because most companies falsely advertise the benefits of VPNs to consumers.
