The fuse is the most basic element and protects against high current spikes but does not perform well against other conditions. MC/ERV (Maintenance Cost to Estimated Replacement Value) is an indispensable metric in the #management of maintenance and assets. Maintenance Cost (MC): This encompasses all expenses related to maintaining an asset. It includes labor costs, the price of materials and parts, overhead costs, and any other expenditures necessary to keep the asset in working condition. Estimated Replacement Value (ERV): ERV is the current market value required to replace an asset with a new one of similar type and capacity. It reflects the total cost of acquiring a new asset to replace the existing one. If the result of this metric calculation is above 6%, you should take appropriate action.
